〜うが〜まいが
Says the result is the same whether or not the action happens. Formal-ish, emphatic; common in written and assertive speech.
V-vol + が + V-dict + まいが（する→しまいが、来る→こまいが）
  1. 雨が降ろうが降るまいが、試合は予定通り行う。
    あめがふろうがふるまいが、しあいはよていどおりおこなう。
    Rain or no rain, the match will be held as scheduled.
  2. 彼が来ようが来まいが、会議は始めます。
    かれがこようがこまいが、かいぎははじめます。
    Whether he comes or not, we will start the meeting.
  3. 賛成しようがしまいが、決定は変わらない。
    さんせいしようがしまいが、けっていはかわらない。
    Whether you agree or not, the decision will not change.
