〜たる（者）
Formal written equivalent of である: 'someone in the position of X'. Used to state the duties or conduct expected of that role, often with should/must.
N＋たる＋N（＝である）；多く「〜たる者」
  1. 教師たる者、常に学び続けねばならない。
    きょうしたるもの、つねにまなびつづけねばならない。
    A teacher must never stop learning.
  2. 責任者たる者が真っ先に逃げてどうする。
    せきにんしゃたるものがまっさきににげてどうする。
    What kind of person in charge runs away first?
  3. 社会人たる者、時間は厳守すべきだ。
    しゃかいじんたるもの、じかんはげんしゅすべきだ。
