"X is one thing, but ..." Contrasts a barely tolerable case with something clearly unacceptable that follows. Slightly formal and usually complaining.
N + はまだしも；V/i-adj 普通形 + のはまだしも
  1. 遅刻はまだしも、無断欠勤は許されない。
    ちこくはまだしも、むだんけっきんはゆるされない。
    Being late is one thing, but missing work without notice is unacceptable.
  2. 一度はまだしも、二度も同じミスをされては困る。
    いちどはまだしも、にどもおなじミスをされてはこまる。
    Once is one thing, but the same mistake twice is a problem.
  3. 値段が高いのはまだしも、味まで落ちた。
    ねだんがたかいのはまだしも、あじまでおちた。
    The high price I could live with, but the taste has gone downhill too.
