〜はともかく
Sets one topic aside as less important in order to focus on another: 'X aside, Y is the point'. Neutral register; はともかくとして is slightly more formal.
N + はともかく（として）
  1. 味はともかく、値段は安い。
    あじはともかく、ねだんはやすい。
    Taste aside, the price is cheap.
  2. 結果はともかく、最後まで頑張ったことが大事だ。
    けっかはともかく、さいごまでがんばったことがだいじだ。
    Results aside, what matters is that you kept going to the end.
  3. デザインはともかくとして、機能には満足している。
    デザインはともかくとして、きのうにはまんぞくしている。
    Setting the design aside, I'm satisfied with the functions.
