Verb stem / adjective stem + そうだ. Describes how something looks or what seems about to happen: 'looks, seems about to'. いい becomes よさそう, ない becomes なさそう.
V-stem + そうだ; い-adj (drop い) + そうだ; な-adj + そうだ
