Verb/i-adj (te-form) + も; noun/na-adj + でも. Means 'even if' or 'even though' — the result does not change.
V-te + も / i-adj: -くても / N・na-adj + でも
  1. 雨が降っても試合はあります。
    あめがふってもしあいはあります。
    Even if it rains, the game will be held.
  2. 高くてもこの時計を買いたい。
    たかくてもこのとけいをかいたい。
    Even if it's expensive, I want to buy this watch.
  3. 何度読んでも意味が分からない。
