〜前に / 〜後で
V-dict / N + の + 前に means 'before'; V-た / N + の + 後で means 'after'. Note the verb before 前に is always dictionary form.

  1. 寝る前に、歯をみがきます。
    ねるまえに、はをみがきます。
    I brush my teeth before going to bed.
  2. 食事の後で、薬を飲んでください。
    しょくじのあとで、くすりをのんでください。
    Please take the medicine after your meal.
  3. 仕事が終わった後で、飲みに行こう。
    しごとがおわったあとで、のみにいこう。
    Let's go for a drink after work is over.
