四月三日、きんようび。はれ。
今日は あたらしい 学校の はじめの 日でした。あさ 七時に おきて、電車で 行きました。学校は 大きくて、学生が おおかったです。となりの 山本さんは やさしい 人でした。ひるごはんを いっしょに 食べました。山本さんは えいごが とても じょうずです。ごご、先生と 学校の 中を 見ました。としょかんが 大きくて、本が たくさん ありました。すこし つかれましたが、いい 一日でした。あしたは 休みです。山本さんと まちへ 行きます。

Friday 3 April. Clear.
Today was the first day at my new school. I got up at seven and went by train. The school is big and there were a lot of students. Yamamoto, who sits next to me, was a kind person; we had lunch together. Yamamoto's English is very good. In the afternoon we looked around the school with a teacher. The library is big, with lots of books. I was a little tired, but it was a good day. Tomorrow is a day off; I'm going into town with Yamamoto.
