Says a quality is at its absolute extreme, almost always a negative one. Formal, written; attaches to na-adjective stems.

程度がこの上ないことを表す、多く否定的な硬い表現。

Formation: na-adj stem + 極まる／極まりない

  2. 危険極まる場所での撮影は禁止されている。

    きけんきわまるばしょでのさつえいはきんしされている。

  3. その言い方は不愉快極まりないと感じた。

    そのいいかたはふゆかいきわまりないとかんじた。
