〜に忍びない

Expresses that one cannot bear to do something because it is too painful or feels wrong. Literary and formal; pairs with verbs like 見る, 聞く, 捨てる.

つらくて、または情において、そうすることに耐えられない意を表す文語的表現。

Formation: V-dict + に忍びない (見る・聞く・捨てる 等と共に)
