Not only A but even B, where B goes beyond expectation. Often used for surprising or extreme additions, good or bad. Slightly formal; common in writing.
「〜だけでなく、さらに」と程度の上の事柄を加える。
Formation: N / V / i-adj plain + ばかりか；na-adj な + ばかりか
