〜なくてはならない

States an obligation imposed by rules or circumstances: 'must, have to'. Slightly formal; なくちゃ is the casual contraction, なければならない the written variant.

Formation: V-ない形の「い」→「く」+ てはならない（提出しない→提出しなくてはならない）／ i-adj くなくては ／ N・na-adj でなくては + ならない

  1. 明日までに書類を提出しなくてはならない。

    あしたまでにしょるいをていしゅつしなくてはならない。

    I have to submit the documents by tomorrow.

  2. 会議の前に資料を読んでおかなくてはならない。
