〜ことがある

Verb (dictionary form) + ことがある. Expresses that something happens occasionally or sometimes.

時々そういうことが起こる、という意味を表す。

Formation: V-dict / V-nai + ことがある

  1. 週末は遅くまで寝ることがある。

    しゅうまつはおそくまでねることがある。

    On weekends I sometimes sleep in late.

  2. このバスは遅れることがあります。

    このバスはおくれることがあります。

    This bus is sometimes late.
