〜ずに

Verb ない-form (drop ない) + ずに (する → せずに). Means 'without doing', a more formal/written equivalent of ないで.

「〜しないで」の書き言葉的な言い方。「する」は「せずに」。

Example sentences

  1. 朝ご飯を食べずに家を出た。

    あさごはんをたべずにいえをでた。

    I left home without eating breakfast.
