〜にとって

N + にとって. Means 'for X, from X's point of view'. Usually followed by a judgement or evaluation such as 大切, 難しい.

「〜の立場から見ると」という意味で、評価・判断が続く。

Formation: N + にとって (+ evaluation)

Example sentences

  1. 私にとって、家族が一番大切です。

    わたしにとって、かぞくがいちばんたいせつです。

    For me, family is the most important thing.

  2. 外国人にとって、漢字は難しい。

    がいこくじんにとって、かんじはむずかしい。

    For foreigners, kanji is difficult.
