Intention: dictionary form + つもり.

辞書形／ない形＋つもり。話し手の意志や予定を表す。

Formation: V-辞書形 / V-ない + つもりだ／です

Example sentences

  1. 来年、日本に留学するつもりです。

    らいねん、にほんにりゅうがくするつもりです。

    I intend to study in Japan next year.

  2. 夏休みは国に帰るつもりです。

    なつやすみはくににかえるつもりです。

    I plan to go back to my country for summer vacation.
