Tokyo has more bespoke tailors and shoemakers per head than London, at lower prices and with a cult of precision: a made-to-measure shirt in ten days, shoes in a month or two, a suit over two fittings. The tailors of Ginza and Aoyama, and the shoemakers of Meguro, take foreign clients and ship. Bring a garment you love to be measured against.
