〜をもとに

"Based on," naming the source material used to make something. Softer and broader than に基づいて: the material is raw input, not a rule to obey.

何かを作る際の材料・資料を示す。「に基づいて」より緩い。

Formation: N + をもとに（して）；N + をもとにした + N
