〜かのようだ
Compares a real situation to something it is not: 'as if'. More literary and vivid than 〜ようだ, often used with まるで, especially in descriptive writing.
事実ではないことに例えて「まるで〜のようだ」と述べる。
Formation: plain + かのようだ／かのように（N・na-adj は であるかのようだ）
