〜ふりをする
To pretend to be or do something that is not actually the case. Everyday spoken Japanese, and usually mildly critical of the pretence.
実際はそうでないのに、そうであるように装うこと。
Formation: V-dict ／ V-た ／ i-adj ／ na-adjな ／ N + の + ふりをする

はなしかけられたくなくて、ねたふりをした。
I pretended to be asleep because I didn't want to be spoken to.
