〜というものだ

States what something essentially is, presenting the speaker's judgment as an obvious truth. Often used for definitions, criticism or life lessons; sounds slightly declarative and written.

物事の本質や道理を断定的に述べる表現。

Formation: N / V-dict / i-adj / na-adj + というものだ
