〜てたまらない

Says a physical sensation or desire is unbearably strong. Used for the speaker's own feelings; for others add ようだ or らしい. Common in casual speech.

感覚や欲求が我慢できないほど強いことを表す。

Formation: V-te / i-adj くて / na-adj で + たまらない

  1. 朝から何も食べていないので、お腹がすいてたまらない。

    あさからなにもたべていないので、おなかがすいてたまらない。

    I haven't eaten since this morning, so I'm unbearably hungry.
