Hypothetical: e-stem + ば.

仮定条件。動詞はe段＋ば、い形容詞は〜ければ。

Formation: V: u→eば / い-adj: い→ければ / N・な-adj + なら

Example sentences

  1. 時間があれば、行きます。

    じかんがあれば、いきます。

    If I have time, I'll go.

  2. 天気がよければ、散歩しましょう。

    てんきがよければ、さんぽしましょう。

    If the weather is nice, let's take a walk.

  3. 毎日練習すれば、上手になります。

    まいにちれんしゅうすれば、じょうずになります。

    If you practice every day, you'll get good.
