Roppongi after dark
夜の六本木 よるのろっぽんぎ
Jazz at the Blue Note, cocktail bars in the towers, and the international dining room of Tokyo.
Worth itLate night · High-end · Food · View
Roppongi's crossing is still the noisiest corner in Tokyo after midnight, but the district's evening has moved up and out: cocktail bars on the upper floors of the Hills and Midtown towers, the Blue Note jazz club in Aoyama a short taxi away, wine bars in Nishi-Azabu, and the restaurants that serve the embassies — the best non-Japanese food in the country is here. The rule is to book, to arrive by seven, and to avoid the touts on the main crossing entirely; anywhere that needs to invite you in from the street is not where you want to be.
